Nice to meet you! My name is Katie Leathers and I'm a driven Reno, NV local photographer who specializes in all things music and creative visions. 

Growing up in Reno, I always felt my options were limited. (It's those little city feelings.) Almost like I had to do what everyone else was doing to feel like I belonged somewhere, but something in me knew that that was never going to be a part of my story. Even as a little kid, I always knew. It's true what they say... you are not born to fit in, you are born to stand out. So here I am: creating art from art, giving memories, and allowing who I am to shine through my work.

I started photography back in 2014 as a complete beginner, and to this day everything I've learned has been entirely self taught. Although, I'm pretty much a professional concert goer. They're just my thing. I've been drawn to the live music scene for as long as I can remember, and thinking about what it would be like to document a show was something I had in mind for a long time. Not even just a show, an experience. When I have my camera in hand, I feel as though myself and whoever's on stage are the only ones in the room. It's like magic, and at that point the options are limitless. Looking forward to all future projects!
